                     this winter has been especially cruel. 

the cold can turn waste to the strongest of survivors, 
make bones brittle and blood cease to flow. there is
more to fear than those who have succumbed to the
virus, men who wear friendly smiles; the wolves in
sheep clothing.  

winter is here and it is as cruel as ever. some will
prevail and others will be lost along the way. trust
none but the self, tread only in lands that are known
but most of all,

                     fear the firefly, 
                           fear the wolf,
                                           fear the sick, 
                                                          and learn how to
                                                                      run, run, run
